Christmas Gift, GHD or Cloud 9

We all wonder what to buy as gifts for Christmas, so to give a little help whilst out and about today i thought it would be very helpful to anyone thinking of hair and grooming products as a gift, to list a few good buys i have seen including the evergreen question i am asked in salon, GHD or Cloud 9 ...

To compare a difference in results between GHD and Cloud 9 is almost impossible, they are to me both very similar for obvious reasons and anyone trying to pick a difference between the twos results has done so with the smallest reasons. So rather than say which i believe is the better Iron i have decided to compare them as a christmas gift idea.

Ghd to start with are offering the 'eclipse' styler this Christmas for £145 which are usually £195. I can't deny my love for these irons and they are my personal choice for the last few months in the salon so this is a good deal for what is otherwise a very expensive hair straightener.

Cloud 9 have brought a completely new set of irons out called 'Touch' now i haven't had much time to play with these straighteners but from what little i see i like..

Clap the plates together once and instantly you have an operating temperature of 195'c, clap again three times and the temperature drops to 165'c. These irons are reasonably priced for a cool new little gadget at £99

....to review these two Christmas sets from GHD and Cloud Nine simply depends on budgets the best quality iron i have used to date it has to be the 'eclipse' but at standard £195rrp its not worth the £75 price jump on the standard Cloud Nine or standard GHD irons. For all these reasons even tho the 'eclipse' is on sale this Christmas there are other offers like the Cloud Nine 'Luxury Gift Set' at £129 that make a much nicer gift.

For me £99 i think the Cloud Nine 'touch' is a cool gift for anyone this Christmas

With so many variations on Beards and Moustaches available what will you grow this month, my november is starting with the stubble until the last month then i will go for the beard that i saw Leonardo Di Caprio have in the film 'Django'.

Today started with a couple of clients coming in and we decided to take a few photos and have some fun with there beards and hair all for the blog so you could all see what your designer beards could look like and hopefully maybe even inspire you this month.

Here are the Classic Beard we all know
