I suppose we should be surprised that it has take us so long to find a 'middle ground' when it comes to a more permanent hair extension but never the less there finally here and we thought we would try them out for all of you to see....
Micro Loop extensions come in 1 gram sections and on average need 150-200 grams for each client. We tried these new extensions on two people with completely conflicting types of hair, Fine Brown hair and Thick Blonde hair as to show our result for 150 grams in both.
Here we have our before pics of our Blonde client award winning tattooist Beki Sanderson, before we started applying the extensions we coloured Bekis hair with Goldwell Dust free Bleach to lift the roots and L'oreal 9.1 Majirel colour then dried it Straightened the hair
We show how we have put them in evenly and securely. Starting about the occipital bone we take a straight line and starting threading the hair through the loops and clamping tightly. We simply repeat this process throughout taking roughly 1cm thick sections and leaving no gaps between each micro-loop.
To put a full head (150 grams) of Micro-Loop extensions in Bekis hair took 3 hour from start to finnish and we are delighted with the results. Asking Beki after she said that the hair felt secure whilst brushing and did not pull on the scalp what so ever.
The great thing about Micro-Loops are that they come out as easy as they go in and can last up to 6 Months
Here we have thrown in a couple of before and after pics from our Onefreechop instagram
